I am determined to help do my part and make a difference in the christian community. True followers of Jesus in our emerging generations need to develop a theological understanding of the truth.
My heart is hurting at what I've noticed from watching other people, who profess that Jesus is God, Savior and Lord over their life, then how they react and respond to those whose life is committed to that of a different gospel, another Jesus.
Followers of Jesus do not possess the type of knowledge of the Bible they confess, thus making their apologetic almost exstinct.
I am asking for theological-googlemonsters to help with this project.

sounds like a challenge...i'm not sure what a google monster is, but i love theology that is sound. maybe i can help.
who are the

I am talking about religious, unknowledgeable, uninvolved christians.
I recently was teaching a theology class, spending weeks on biblical theology, then I had leaders from the Mormon and Jehovah's Witness church come in and teach on what they believe - I wanted to have our class get a better understanding on what "another gospel" looks like from those who are faithfully committed to it.
There were a few of the religiously-spiritually but biblically-unknowledgeable class participants walked away thinking they we believe the same, theologically, and they are just seekers on a spiritual journey waking towards Jesus; there was no need to share the gospel or defend the faith since 'we beleived the same'
I tried to explain that their Jesus is not the same Jesus that we believe, and they are not seeking, but, in their minds, have found the truth - it is imperative that we continue to study the scriptures, allow the Holy Spirit to empower us, and take the message of the gospel and engage the world around us, not being afraid of thoese who walk in light of a different gospel.
